1. Akkadica is interested in original articles pertaining to studies, - both philological (incl. editions
of cuneiform texts) and archaeological -, on the history and environment of Mesopotamia and its periphery.
It also accepts short scientific communications (rubric Breviter) and presentations of recently published
books (rubric Libri Novi).
2. Manuscripts may be written in English, French, German and, an hoc, in Dutch.
3. An outprint of the text and photocopies of illustrations should be submitted to the editors.
4. After acceptance by the Editorial Board, should be send: the text as a Word document (attachment or diskette) and,
if there are, cuneiform copies, photographs (copyright to be observed), line drawings.
5. Bibliographic references in the text: Limbrey (1975, 5) or (Limbrey 1975, 5).
6. A list of bibliographic references should be given at the end of the text in alphabetical order
(De Meyer sub D, von Soden sub V):
